Postmenopausal ovarian cyst torsion

Sonography is an excellent tool for the evaluation of ovarian torsion. Torsion results in disruption of the blood supply to the ovary. This should result in a devascularized structure. We report a case of torsioned ovarian cyst in a 84 years old woman.
