Ovarian cyst torsion is an emergent mostly seen in adolesance and reproductive period of life. It’s rarely seen in postmenopausal period and also in geriatric population. Color Doppler
Sonography is an excellent tool for the evaluation of ovarian torsion. Torsion results in disruption of the blood supply to the ovary. This should result in a devascularized structure. We report a case of torsioned ovarian cyst in a 84 years old woman. Keywords: Postmenopause, ovarian cyst torsion
