Eagle syndrome, is caused by ossification of stylohyoid ligament and/or elongation of processus styloideus. It is presented by symptoms like recurrent throat pain, foreign body sensation in the throat, dysphagia. Diagnosis can usually be made by means of physical examination by digital palpation of styloid process within the tonsillary fossa. Treatment of the Eagle Syndrome is primarily surgical. Shortening procedures of the styloid process by intraoral or external approach are used. In this study, we aimed to show that patients with Eagle Syndrome can also be presented by assimmetry within the laryngeal structures of the neck during swallowing.
