Although lipomas are placed in any localization from hypopharynx to rectum, they are most commonly seen in large bowel, and frequently localized in submucosal areas. Being
usually asymptomatic, this tumors should undergone detailed investigation, since they resemble both benign and malign tumors of large bowel clinically, endoscopically and in gross macroscopic appereance.
A 75-years old woman presented with rectal bleeding was diagnosed as huge lipoma of large bowel and the case is reported because of its low frequency. Keywords: Lipoma, large bowel
