Ipsilateral distal radius fracture, posterolateral elbow dislocation and neglected proximal humerus fracture

After high-energy traumas it is common to see multiple bone-joint pathologies but it is uncommon to see these pathologies ipsilaterally and these cases can be overlooked in the emergency departments. We thought that after a fall on the open hand; because of the axial loading and elbow valgus stress, patient suffered from distal radius fracture and elbow dislocation and afterwards as the patient fell over the shoulder, this caused proximal humeral fracture. Although ipsilateral multiple trauma case is very rare, it can still happen and should not be overlooked.

İpsilateral distal radius kırığı, posterolateral dirsek çıkığı ve gözden kaçmış proksimal humerus kırığı

Yüksek enerjili travma olgularında çoklu kemik-eklem patolojilerine sık rastlanılmasına rağmen, aynı taraflı çoklu yaralanmalara daha az rastlanılmaktadır ve acil serviste gözden kaçabilmektedir. Hastanın kırık paterni yüksekten düşme sırasında açık el üzerine aksiyel yüklenme ve dirsek valgusu sonucu distal radius kırığı ve dirsek çıkığı, daha sonra omuz üzerine düşme sonucu proksimal humerus kırığı olduğunu tahmin ettik. Çok ender görülen bu aynı taraflı çoklu travma olgusının olabileceğini ve gözden kaçmaması amacı ile yayınlamayı düşündük.
