The aim of this report is to describe a rare case of hepatic abscess causing by brucellosis. The hepatic involvement of brusella is rare and asymptomatic. Its diagnosis may be difficult because the isolation of the microorganism is unusual, serological agglutinating titers are low and the initial detection of liver abscess may be misleading. The imaging findings can offer important diagnostic clues but not specific for brucella. Therefore serologic confirmation is necessary to reach the correct diagnosis. Keywords: Brucella, liver abscess, CT, MRI
