In this report, 61 year old male patient with the verrucous carcinoma of the larynx has been discussed in the view of the latest literature.
Verrucous carcinoma is a rare variant of the well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. These tumors can be extensively locally invasive but no metastase has been reported. In some cases, there is HPV positivity in the tumor and surrounding tissue. Verrucous hiperplasia, papilloma and squamous cell carcinoma should be considered in differential diagnosis. The preferred treatment modality is surgery.
