Lyme disease is a multisystem infection caused by the spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi which is usually transmitted to humans via the bite of tick.
A 38 year-old woman had presented to us with arthralgia, myalgia, anxiety, vomiting and fatigue. One month later, she developed an erythematous rash on her legs and arms. This
lesion was diagnosed as multiple annular secondary skin lesion of Lyme disease. Laboratory findings were normal. B. burgdorferi serologies were ELISA IgG positive. Our patient
was successfully treated with doxycycline, 200mg/day for 30 days. Her systemic symptoms and her skin lesions resolved in 3 days.
