Development of invasive diagnostic and theurapatic methods has increased the incidence of iatrojenic vascular complications. Vascular complications from the cannulation site have wide clinical spectrum, from bleeding to dissection. After the catheterization procedures, over all complication rate related to femoral artery area is % 1.7. Vascular grafts need to be used in severe vascular injuries. Vascular graft infections are commonly encountered in femoral area. Every surgeon probably may confront with such a situation so has to know obturator channel bypass technique. So that can treat femoral graft infections and even save the life of the patient.
In our center, we evaluated two cases with the aid of literature that we have encountered. Although surgical operations had been successful we lost one of the patients due to sepsis.
We believe that when technique is known obturator canal bypass is safe and quite simple for extremity revascularization. Keywords: Obturator canal, lower extremity revascularization
