The incidence of malignancies arising after transplantation is 50-to 100-fold that seen in the general populations. Multiple myeloma, however, is rare despite the frequent finding of monoclonal gammopathies after transplantation. We report a 44-year-old patient in whom the diagnosis of non-secretuar multiple myeloma was made 4 years after renal transplantation and reviewed the literature.
