Mucosal malignant melanoma is a very rare disease with an unfortunately bad prognosis. In this article a 71 years old patient who had malignant melanoma in the nasal cavity is presented. He had the complaints of epistaxis and nasal stuffiness. The lesion was excised using the technique of lateral rhinotomy. Keywords: Malignant melanoma, nasal cavity, lateral rhinotomy
