Intestinal Obstruction Due to Ascariasis

Ascariasis is a benign and common disease in south region of our country. This disease leads to serious abdominal complications such as intestinal obstruction. Here we present a case of intestinal obstruction due to ascariasis. The findings of ultrasonography and computerized tomography have critical role in the diagnosis and in the treatment of our patient and she treated with medication instead of operative intervention.
